Doris Mangrum
SATURDAY BOOK SIGNING, with writer Doris Mangrum
March 13 & 20, Saturday 3-4pm, FREE

Doris Mangrum is a long time advocate for disenfranchised families. She is the owner of Saidiana(in Swahili, help each other) Productions whose mission is to provide books, art and media productions that highlight the plight of families affected by incarceration and rally support for this often forgotten group.
Doris is also the author of "After the Bungy Jump . . There's Still A Lot of Jerking Goin' On" (TM) a story that follows the mother during her eight years of incarceration, while taking a look from the family's perspective during that same period. This gives the reader an opportunity to give each side a chance to voice "their piece" and a unique look from both sides of the bars.

AS SEEN IN EAST BAY GREEN TOURS NEWSLETTER FEBRUARY 2010

Doris Mangrum
gave a short and very powerful presentation of the incredible work she does with www.letssaidana.com  She has a talk show THE LIGHT at 9:45 on Saturday mornings on KDYA 1190 AM.  Doris is producing a documentary film called STAINS, Changing Lives After Incarceration.  Please check out her work and support her efforts.  The film will take a look from the other side of the bars at the challenges faced by the family left behind.  Doris is an author and has spent the last 25 years advocating for families affected by incarceration.  SAIDIANA is a Swahili word that means HELP EACH OTHER, let's all do that!  Doris Mangrum is a powerful force you must experience.  Thanks to the BABRT for giving her the opportunity to educate us.

Doris
One of our customers, Doris I. Mangrum, is an author, filmmaker and speaker. She has produced a documentary, Stains, that deals with incarceration and its impact on families.

Doris has been out on the speaking circuit and she needed some signage that would be distinctive, yet transportable and affordable.

Fast Imaging created two retractable tradeshow display signs that are 36"wide x 84" tall, made of blackout vinyl.

The signs fit into carrying cases that can be checked baggage on airplanes. They are easy to assemble--the signs fit on stands that adjust to the size of the sign.

Doris can expect these signs to withstand a lot of abuse as she packs them to her engagements, but the best part? They look great and provide excellent visibility for her film and book.
